Nathan Pingry has served the recovery community in many different capacities over the last nine years. As a person in long term recovery himself, he draws on his experiences to help bridge the gaps for others seeking recovery themselves. For the last 7 years he has been the Program Director for BSM Sober Homes, identifying the significant gaps that exist in the community. He serves on several Boards for non-profits and RCO's across the state, using his lived experience to help create change and reduce the stigma of SUD. Passionate about helping others, Nathan has dedicated his life to serving the community ethically and responsibly, embodying his personal integrity and character.
Jim Adams is a seasoned leader with a rich background spanning both the public and private sectors, leveraging his expertise in finance and accounting across various domains. With extensive involvement in residential real estate, Jim stands as a pillar in his community. Currently serving his third term as Mayor of Crystal, he also owns and operates BSM Management, LLC, a property management firm. Jim’s commitment to aiding those in recovery began in 2015. His past roles include serving as President of the West Metro Fire Rescue District Relief Association, CEO of Charitable Gambling, and Retired Lieutenant of West Metro Fire Rescue District.
Jackson is an attorney in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area with experience in compliance, governance, nonprofit, tax, and regulatory law.
Jackson knows that effective leadership is as simple as good planning, hard work, decisive action, humility, and a genuine heart for others.
In recovery himself, Jackson searched for peace and contentment for decades. Life finally taught him: helping those in the darkest times of their lives find the light once again is the only way to a life worth living. Jackson believes in WeRecognize's mission because it embodies this principle, and he considers it an honor to sit on it's board.
Logan is a seasoned leader in behavioral health, with over eight years of experience. Drawing from personal insights gained through his own recovery journey, Logan has excelled as a former Director of Operations for multiple organizations, driving organizational growth and forging strategic partnerships. His dedication extends beyond professional roles, as he actively mentors individuals on their recovery paths, fostering hope and resilience within the community.
Meyer has lived in the Twin Cities since moving here from Southern Oregon in 2009. He started his recovery journey in 2019. Meyer is the owner of Act 2 Recovery Residences. His purpose is centered around providing housing support and mentoring to individuals beginning their own recovery journey. His passion lies in providing hope to underserved communities by removing barriers to housing, continued education, and health care resources to those he serves. He believes building individual recovery capitol starts with connection to community, service, and treating substance use disorder through conventional and unconventional approaches.
Melissa, herself in long-term recovery, has spent the past three years actively supporting women on their recovery journeys. She believes in planting seeds of positivity and leading by example within the community. Embodying the transformative power of change, Melissa is deeply committed to empowering others as they navigate their own paths to recovery.

Jessie is dedicated to fostering hope and resilience in others through his own long-term recovery journey. At WEreckognize, Jessie’s commitment to building a supportive, inclusive community makes recovery accessible for all. With certifications in Reciprocal Peer Recovery Support (CPRS-R), Peer Recovery Specialist Supervision (CPRS-S), and Forensic Endorsement (CPRS-FE), Jessie brings both personal insight and professional expertise to his role, providing compassionate guidance and mentorship to individuals on their paths to recovery.
